Richard Dodd MISCP

Richard qualified from Northumbria University in 2015 with a first class honours degree. Since then Richard has worked in the NHS completing his junior and senior rotations, gaining experience in areas such as paediatrics, Acute orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal, stroke and Neuro muscular rehab.

Richard has worked in private practice settings in the UK and Ireland, specialising in sports injuries and sport rehabilitation.

He’s worked in Medical settings such as The Sports Surgery Clinic working alongside some of the top medical professionals in Ireland.

He has worked as a physiotherapist for AIL rugby clubs in Ireland and is now part of the medical team for AIL Champions Clontarf Rugby Club. Richard has worked alongside elite level athletes working for Newcastle Falcons rugby club and other professional rugby clubs in the area.

He has also worked with elite level athletes in sports such as GB Rowing, Athletics, Soccer and elite crossfit athletes. Richard specialises in lower limb rehabilitation and return to the sporting arena. He has an avid interest muscular strain and tendon related issues, whether it be elite level sporting injuries or your every day strains or sprains.
